Role: Graphic Designer, Editor

Year: 2026
A magazine series on the cultural life of the bag, and a generator that finds yours.
Carried Away is a speculative editorial series that treats the handbag the way Vogue treats a trend: as a cultural object worth a full magazine, not just a product shot. Each issue is built around a single bag, its color, its texture, its silhouette, and unpacked the way a fashion feature would unpack a moment: with a cover line, a kicker, a dek, and body copy that argues for why this bag, this season, this color story matters.
The series runs on a consistent editorial system, serif display type for the masthead, a recurring "CARRIED away" lockup, full-bleed product photography, and a tonal palette that shifts issue to issue but never breaks character. Spreads alternate between straight product editorial, styled "bag dump" still lifes, and street-style call-outs, treating the bag itself as the protagonist across formats rather than a single fixed layout.
The project's second half is a generator: an interactive quiz that takes a user's answers about lifestyle, color instinct, and personal pace, and matches them to their own "It Girl" bag from the archive — turning the editorial voice of the magazine into a piece of product. It's the same instinct that runs through the rest of the work: build the system, then build the tool that lets someone else use it.
Carried Away is less "here's a bag" and more "here's why you already know which one is yours."
